29 university students in Greece took part in a three-session workshop series held in November and December 2025, exploring history, memory, and active citizenship through an innovative educational approach.

Guided by Professor Alexandra Patrikiou and Dr. Fryni Kostara, participants engaged with the life story of Renée Molho — a survivor from Thessaloniki's once-thriving Sephardic Jewish community, which was devastated during the German occupation of World War II. Through a Centropa educational video, group discussions, creative writing, and timeline activities, students developed both historical literacy and empathy for the human experiences behind the history.

Over the course of the workshops, participants designed classroom activities and lesson plans for younger pupils, translating what they had learned into practical teaching tools. They also co-created an educational poster based on Renée's biography, which will feature at the IMAGINE commemoration event.
